Know the intensity
Intensity describes the earthquake's strength and effects on people in different places.
According to the Philippine Institute for Volcanology and Seismology, residents of Metro Manila and surrounding provinces should be ready for "the big one,” especially as the West Valley Fault is ripe for movement. It moves roughly every 400 years. Those who are near the center of the earthquake may experience intensity 6 to intensity 8.

Being prepared means being equipped with the proper supplies that you need in the event of an emergency and a disaster. These things should be found in the the GO PACK and should not be easily damaged and stored in a place that is easy to find.
