Based on the data collected from 76 individuals, 66% feel that they are somewhat adequately prepared for an earthquake, while 26% feel that they are very prepared, and the remaining 8% feel that they are not prepared at all. Only 70% of the respondents have discussed earthquake disaster preparedness. 67% of the respondents have an emergency contact, while 64% have a first aid kit prepared. 47% have a family meeting, while only 46% of them have an evacuation plan. 78% of the respondents have experienced an earthquake, and 52% of the respondents have felt aftershocks. Only 8% of respondents have had their houses damaged by an earthquake, while 20% have had their electricity and/or water and food supply cut off. Out of the 77 respondents, none of them have gotten injured, and 84% haven't thought of moving to another area.
